Nasty
Calling all Nasty Women
The Las Cruces Nasty Women Exhibition is the sister to the Nasty Women Exhibition in Queens, NYC and other venues throughout the world. Our simultaneous group exhibitions will demonstrate solidarity among artists who identify with being a Nasty Woman in the face of threats to roll back women’s rights, individual rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and immigrant rights. It also serves as a fundraiser to support organizations defending these rights.
WHO DO WE WANT INVOLVED?
Nasty Women Artists of all ages, races, religions, sexual orientations, gender or non-gender identifications, economic backgrounds, immigrants and non-immigrants…
THIS EXHIBITION IS COMPLETELY INCLUSIVE
If you follow the submission guidelines your work will be featured in the exhibition. Our curatorial team will coordinate with you and facilitate its presentation – but no work will be rejected UNLESS IT DOES NOT MEET THE SUBMISSION CRITERIA BELOW.
THIS EXHIBITION IS A FUNDRAISER
100% of the proceeds will be donated to Whole Women’s Health of New Mexico. We ask you price your work between $10-$100. We want to keep the prices very affordable so that many people in attendance feel they are able to purchase one or multiple pieces in support of Whole Women’s Health of New Mexico.
